After gaining access, I enabled the hidden Admin account, and rebooted into Recovery mode, but same message. How can I ensure this won't happen in the future when I need to use the Recovery mode again?

What was the exact message you saw? However, you might need to use this built-in administrator account when you troubleshoot certain problems on your computer.
