I have reviewed tools options ie I have installed foxit, to no avail. I have been forced to use google or foxfire I have no problems with opening and down loading pdf files. My preference is to internet explorer. I have not had this problem until Internet Explorer was down loaded automatically to my pc in January OK, me again. I found something that seems to work. Then, to the left I selected Internet, and then I unchecked the box "Display in read mode by default".
