He uses martial arts, his intellect, and wealth to fight against crime. Freeze, the Riddler, and Poison Ivy. Batman focuses his crime-fighting efforts in Gotham City. When he is needed, authorities use the Bat Signal which is a big search light that flashes his bat emblem to be seen all over Gotham City.
Batman's headquarters is called the bat cave and is located somewhere under the Wayne Manor. Since he is an orphan, he considers his trusted butler, Alfred Pennyworth, to be his family. Batman also has a sidekick; a young boy called Robin.
He helps Batman fight against crimes. Robin's real identity was originally Dick Grayson who later on became Night Wing and had his own way of fighting crimes.
Robin then became James Todd who was killed by Joker and then returned to be Batman's opponent. The last Robin was Tim Drake who managed to have his own comic series.
